Data Usage & Chargeback Policy

1. Chargeback & Refund Policy

All purchases are final and non-refundable. By confirming payment, you expressly waive any right to request a refund, reversal, or chargeback for any reason whatsoever, including but not limited to: incorrect TXID entry, dissatisfaction with the Data Report and/or Data Intelligence or its contents, or subsequent changes in your personal circumstances.

By clicking “I Agree” and completing payment, you confirm that you have read, understood, and accepted this Chargeback & Refund Policy and agree that the Data Report and/or Data Intelligence is provided under a limited, revocable license in accordance with our Terms of Business.

Any attempt to initiate a chargeback shall itself constitute a material breach of this Agreement, entitling Chainblox to suspend or terminate your license to use the Data Report and/or Data Intelligence and seek legal and equitable remedies, including recovery of costs incurred in contesting such chargeback.

2. Data Report and/or Data Intelligence Use

By proceeding with payment, you acknowledge and agree to the following:

Strategic Use Only: The Data Report and/or Data Intelligence and any related educational materials are provided by Chainblox solely for informational and strategic purposes. They are designed to assist victims of digital asset fraud in understanding potential asset flows and in deciding whether to consult legal professionals or law enforcement authorities.

The Data Report and/or Data Intelligence does not constitute legal evidence and is not intended for direct submission to any governmental body, enforcement authority, court, or tribunal. The contents have not been independently verified by any third party, and Chainblox makes no representation or warranty that the Data Report and/or Data Intelligence will be accepted as admissible evidence in any proceeding.

If law enforcement, regulators, or courts require evidentiary material, such data must be obtained through independent verification by the User’s own Professional Advisors or by engaging a third-party qualified expert. In accordance with the Warnings and the relevant sections regarding expert witness services in our Terms of Business, Chainblox and its Vendors strictly do not offer expert witness services, and the Data Report and/or Data Intelligence is not a substitute for such services. 

3. User Acknowledgements: By purchasing a Data Report and/or Data Intelligence, you understand, confirm, and accept that:
  1. Accuracy of Input: You are solely responsible for ensuring that all TXIDs provided are accurate. Reports are generated automatically based on the data you supply.
  2. Data Source: All outputs are provided as-is from third-party data vendors and blockchain records. Chainblox does not alter, validate, or guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of such data.
  3. No Expert Testimony: Chainblox shall not be called, compelled, or required to testify in court, provide sworn evidence, or participate in any proceedings in connection with the Data Report and/or Data Intelligence. Any attempt to compel such participation shall be deemed a material breach and shall trigger the User’s obligation to pay the Compelled Participation Fees and fulfill all indemnity obligations for legal costs as set forth in the Indemnity and Limitation of Liability section of our Terms of Business.
  4. Risk of Reliance: Any reliance placed on the Data Report and/or Data Intelligence by you or any third party is strictly at their own risk.
  5. Limited Role: Chainblox’s role is strictly limited to providing informational and strategic data. You acquire no ownership rights in the Data Report and/or Data Intelligence, only a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use it in accordance with the Terms of Business.
  6. License Revocation: Any misuse of the Data Report and/or Data Intelligence, including but not limited to reliance or submission in legal, regulatory, prosecutorial, or forensic proceedings, shall constitute a material breach of this Agreement. In such event, the license granted herein shall automatically terminate and all rights to the Data Report and/or Data Intelligence shall immediately revert to Chainblox in accordance with the License and Risk Warning provisions of our Terms of Business.
