Frequently Asked Questions

A Data Report is an automatically generated document that shows how your digital assets have moved across supported blockchains. It highlights the wallets your funds have passed through and identifies if they reached a known exchange (CEX).

We currently support Bitcoin, Ethereum (including ERC-20 tokens), Polygon, Tron, and Binance Smart Chain. Tokens such as USDT and USDC are included. More networks may be added over time.

Our reports aggregate automated data feed streams directly from third-party blockchain analytics providers. Chainblox operates strictly as a data pass-through utility: we do not verify, audit, or independently cross-check this data, nor do we have visibility into the proprietary collection methodologies of these third-party providers. All reports are provided strictly on an 'as-is' and 'as-available' basis for baseline triage purposes.

No. Chainblox is not a recovery service. We provide Data Reports to help you, your lawyer, or the authorities understand where your assets may have gone. This can help you take the first step, such as asking your advisors or governmental bodies to request a freeze.

Speed, affordability, and accessibility. Reports are delivered within minutes, at a fraction of the cost charged by forensic platforms.

You can share the report with:

  • The exchange where funds appear to have been sent.
  • Law enforcement or regulators.
  • Your lawyer, accountant, or forensic investigator as part of a wider case.

Our vendors stop tracing once funds reach a mixer, as transactions become unbundleable in practice. If your report shows this, you will see the last identified wallet before the mixer.

No. Chainblox is strictly a data provider. We do not offer legal, financial, or recovery advice. We may, however, connect you with professional advisors who can help.

We leverage automated API integrations to keep operational costs low, passing those savings directly to you. This allows individual retail victims to access immediate blockchain asset visibility at a fraction of the cost of traditional forensic consultancies. Current pricing is completely transparent and displayed at checkout.

We only accept fiat payments through standard online methods such as credit/debit card. We do not accept cryptocurrency or stablecoins for payment, nor do we make or receive payments in crypto.

No. Reports are generated automatically based on the TXIDs you provide. As such, all sales are final and non-refundable. Please double-check your TXIDs before submitting them.

Yes. All personal information you provide is treated as confidential and used only to generate your report. We do not share your personal details with third parties, except as required by law. Your TXIDs will be shared with our data vendors in order to identify your transaction trail.

Yes. We offer optional support sessions where a Chainblox team member walks you through the data, explains what it means, and answers your questions. This is an add-on service you can book after receiving your report by contacting us at info@chainblox.com.

No. Our text summaries and tables are strictly for personal informational history and baseline triage. They are not formatted or certified for legal proceedings, and Chainblox does not provide court-admissible evidence. However, because public blockchain data belongs to you, your report includes a CSV download containing the raw transaction hashes (TXIDs) and timestamps associated with your transactions. If you choose to share this raw cryptographic data with third parties, they must independently verify it using their own forensic tools or blockchain explorers to establish any formal chain of custody.

No. Chainblox is strictly an automated technology data provider, not a forensic legal practice. Our automated reports and summaries are generated purely for your personal reference and informational orientation. Because we do not perform manual forensic investigations or provide certified expert evidence, Chainblox cannot be contracted, called, or compelled to testify in court or participate in legal proceedings under any circumstances.

You are responsible for entering TXIDs correctly. Reports are automatically generated from the data you provide. No refunds can be offered if incorrect information is submitted.

Our report is provided strictly for informational reference to give law enforcement a helpful starting point. Officers can use the structured tables and raw CSV data as an informal roadmap to understand the flow of funds. However, because Chainblox is an automated data provider, the police cannot use this report as official evidence; instead, they must import the transaction hashes into their own internal tracking systems to independently verify the data and generate their own official, police-validated documents.

No. All purchases are final and non-refundable, as stated in our Disclaimer & Chargeback Policy.

When you purchase a Data Report from Chainblox, you will receive anonymised PDF and CSV files containing transaction tracing data related to the TXIDs you provide. These reports are provided strictly for informational purposes only and are intended to give you and/or your Professional Advisors an initial understanding of where your digital assets have travelled on the blockchain.

You do not own the data itself. The Data Report is provided to you, and to your agents or related third parties, under a limited, revocable license in accordance with our Terms of Business and Policies. This means you are permitted to use the Data Report only for the specific, informational purposes described. Any misuse of the Data Report may result in the revocation of your license and termination of your right to use it.

Data Intelligence is an AI-powered summary and interpretation of the blockchain tracing data you receive from the Data Report. It translates complex on-chain flows into a plain-language narrative, highlights key events or red flags, and suggests possible next steps or recovery options.

Yes — Data Intelligence builds on the tracing data from the Data Report. You can purchase Data Report alone or choose the bundled option to get both at once.

As a PDF (and optionally other formats) alongside the Data Report; typically within one hour or so after your Data Report is ready.

No — Data Intelligence provides a clearer understanding and assessment; it does not guarantee that funds can be recovered. For recovery you may still need legal, forensic, or law-enforcement involvement.

The Chainblox Data Intelligence Report is our advanced automated output. While a standard trace provides raw movement, the Data Intelligence Report applies our proprietary Relationship Nexus Scoring to rank exchange-labeled deposit addresses based on their connection strength to your lost assets.

No. Chainblox does not perform manual forensic auditing or investigative verification. We use automated software to fetch and format transaction paths from third-party data providers. We do not know, nor can we verify, the underlying source methodologies of these providers. Our service is designed to be a rapid, low-cost strategic triage tool that gives you a starting blueprint, rather than a certified forensic audit.

We do not process reports for incidents involving:

  1. DeFi / Smart Contract Exploits: Protocol hacks, flash loan vulnerabilities, or complex decentralized exchange arbitrage manipulations.
  2. Ransomware & Extortion: Corporate network locks or extortion demands.
  3. High-Value Loss: Any theft or fraud totaling over EUR 300,000.

Cases matching these criteria require bespoke forensic investigation, manual auditing, and specialized corporate liability evaluations. If our system detects that a submitted case falls into these categories or exceeds our financial threshold, the report generation will not be allowed to proceed.

We specialize exclusively in consumer-facing, linear fraud types where assets are transferred directly from a victim to a fraudulent destination. This includes Investment Scams, Romance/Pig-Butchering Scams, Impersonation/Support Scams, Phishing/Fake Website Frauds, Task/Remote Employment Scams, and Advance Fee/Recovery Frauds.
