Upbit is a digital asset exchange founded by Song Chi-Hyung and headquartered in Seoul, South Korea. It is owned and operated by its parent company, Dunamu Inc.
Upbit is a registered Virtual Asset Service Provider (VASP) with South Korea’s Financial Intelligence Unit (FIU), ensuring compliance with the country’s regulatory framework for digital asset exchanges.
In addition to its core exchange services, Upbit also offers staking solutions and operates a non-fungible token (NFT) marketplace, catering to a diverse range of cryptocurrency and blockchain-based activities.
